RMA Application

To apply for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), please contact the local reseller/distributor where the purchase was made for the necessary assistance. You may find the distributor's contact information at "Where to Buy" or "Contact Us" page.
Please note that a valid proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt, is required and subject to the specific RMA policies of the local distributor.

KLEVV Limited Warranty Statement

KLEVV Limited Warranty Statement (this “Limited Warranty”) includes four parts:

Scope of Warranty

Essencore Limited (“KLEVV”) warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use conditions for the applicable warranty period. This Limited Warranty applies only when the product is used as intended and within the environmental and operational conditions specified in this Limited Warranty, including the limitations described herein.

What This Limited Warranty Covers

If a defect in materials or workmanship arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, KLEVV will, at its option and as permitted by law, repair the product, replace the product with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater value, or provide a refund of the purchase price.

What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Natural performance degradation or wear and tear associated with ordinary use.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or improper operation.
Accidental damage.
Unauthorized modification, alteration, or repair.
Use of the product outside the environmental or operational specifications provided by KLEVV.
Continuous high frequency write usage or other usage patterns that exceed normal consumer use.
Use of the product in high risk or safety critical applications.

Detailed exclusions are listed in the “Limitation of Warranty” section below. Nothing in this Limited Warranty is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable laws.

ALL KLEVV products are covered by the Duration of Warranty table subject to the terms and conditions. You may apply the RMA within the applicable warranty period.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Notification of Limited Lifetime Warranty

Certain KLEVV products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. For the purpose of this Limited Warranty, the term "Lifetime" refers to the period during which the product remains functional and serviceable under normal consumer use, taking into account product availability, component support, and technical feasibility, and consistent with the expected useful life of similar products within the industry. Please note that the precise definition and duration of "Lifetime" may vary depending on local laws and regulations in different countries or regions. Where applicable law provides additional warranty rights or minimum warranty periods, those rights and periods will apply.

In the event that the law of a certain country/region requires a defined maximum warranty period on products, KLEVV will, in such a country/region, with respect to the products, provide technical support and the warranty service to local consumers in accordance with such requirements.
In the event that the law of a certain country/region prohibits the exclusion of an implied warranty, then, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, KLEVV shall, in such a country/region, only be liable for the implied warranty on the products during KLEVV’s expressed warranty period.

SSD

The SSD warranty shall terminate upon the earlier of the expiration of the applicable warranty period or the attainment of the maximum TBW (Terabytes Written), whichever occurs first.

Limitation of Warranty

KLEVV shall not be liable for providing repair or replacement services if the product exceeds its warranty period, or if the defect is caused by any of the following factors:

Damage

Defects resulting from natural disasters, accidents, improper installation, or any form of abuse, mishandling, or wear and tear from normal use.

Misuse

Any improper operation, including use that does not comply with the original product instructions or intended application.

Unrecognized Service

Products that have been repaired, disassembled, or tampered with by unauthorized technicians, or any unauthorized modification or misapplication of the SPD (DRAM) or product firmware (SSD/USB Drives).

Operating Conditions

Usage under unstable power supply (intermittent, insufficient or excessive voltage), or exposure to abnormal mechanical, thermal, or environmental conditions.

Warranty label

Cases where the warranty label has been altered, damaged, removed, or is missing.

Product Identification

The product serial number is mismatched, defaced, or otherwise illegible for identification.

Unidentifiable Source

Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or secondary markets.

Return Requirements for Products sold in kit/set

To ensure compatibility and performance, complete memory kit must be returned for RMA service, even if only one module requires inspection. Returning the full set allows us to verify multi-channel functionality and prevents stability or compatibility issues.

Illustrative examples of warranty exclusions are provided in the 'Exception Example of Warranty' section for your reference. Please note that these serve as non-exhaustive examples and do not represent the entirety of all possible exclusion scenarios.

Additional Limitations of Product Usage (Unintended application, etc.)

Continuous Recording: This Limited Warranty does not apply to any KLEVV product used in continuous or consecutive recording devices, such as dashcams (black boxes), CCTV surveillance systems, or other high-frequency write environments.
High-Risk & Specialized Applications: This Limited Warranty is void for any KLEVV product used in critical systems where failure could lead to personal injury, loss of life, or catastrophic property damage. KLEVV shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, or property damage arising from such unauthorized applications. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Transportation & Aerospace: Aircraft, aviation systems, traffic control equipment, or automotive applications.
- Infrastructure & Defense: Military equipment, nuclear energy systems, combustion control systems, and disaster prevention systems.
- Medical & Healthcare: Life-support systems or critical medical-related equipment (e.g. patient monitoring systems, surgical robotics, or high-risk diagnostic tools).

Disclaimers

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS ONLY THE KLEVV PRODUCTS THEMSELVES AND IS LIMITED TO THE INSPECTION, REPAIR, OR REPLACEMENT OF IN-WARRANTY PRODUCTS ONLY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE DATA RECOVERY OR DATA BACKUP SERVICES STORED ON THE PRODUCT.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAWS, KLEVV SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO, OR LOSS OF, DATA STORED IN THE PRODUCTS. CUSTOMERS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO BACK UP THEIR DATA AND REMOVE ALL DATA FROM THEIR PRODUCTS PRIOR TO REQUESTING WARRANTY SERVICE.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAWS, KLEVV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE PRODUCTS.

NOTHING IN THIS DISCLAIMER SHALL LIMIT OR EXCLUDE ANY STATUTORY RIGHTS THAT CONSUMERS MAY HAVE UNDER APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.

KLEVV PRODUCTS ARE NOT DESIGNED, INTENDED, CERTIFIED, OR AUTHORIZED FOR USE IN ANY APPLICATIONS WHERE PRODUCT FAILURE COULD RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR SEVERE PROPERTY DAMAGE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM, MEDICAL OR MEDICAL-RELATED EQUIPMENT, MILITARY OR MILITARY-RELATED USE, AIRCRAFT, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, DISASTER PREVENTION SYSTEMS, COMBUSTION CONTROL SYSTEMS, OR NUCLEAR ENERGY SYSTEMS. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAWS, KLEVV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM SUCH USES OR APPLICATIONS.
